These photos below, were taken on 6 August during the 3rd gathering of the Zuehl Night Out.

We went to Leo and Carol's house for a nice time and the cops were called and they brought their dog, but, of course, that was the plan. National Night Out is an opportunity to increase awareness of your neighborhood to increase security by meeting your neighbors and local law enforcement. This works just as well if your neighborhood is the local airport. 

The Juggernaut Washington bureaucracies such as TSA are churning with ideas to spend billions of your dollars for technical solutions to security problems that may not exist. Meanwhile, we can make a difference just by getting together around the hangar and keeping an eye out for each other. Phil Boyer made the point here in San Antonio the other day when he said if we don't get proactive and do these things for ourselves, our friendly feds will do it for (to) us.
